10 Things That Rock
10.Cartoons from the 80's and 90's
9. iPods, Nooks, Audiobooks and Netflix instant watch.
I have always dreamed of having a library full of books, shelves full of movies, and stacks and stacks of CDs...until I started moving. I'm so happy to see things all going digital! I could keep an entire room full of stuff on one hard drive! It's amazing! I still dream of someday having a library full of leatherbound books but other than that I am going to keep as much stuff on my computer as possible.
8. StumbleUpon
Let's face it, refreshing facebook get's old pretty fast, but what else are you gonna do all day at work? Enter StumbleUpon.com. Basically it randomly sends you to sites you might like, you say whether you like them or not, and it adjusts its suggestions accordingly. I can and have easily spent hours stumbling. Give it a try...but probably on a day when loosing track of time is not an issue.
7. Proactive Treehuggers
There are basically three kinds of environmentalists, the annoying kind that are really outspoken and want us to go back to the days of living in trees and flinging poo, the kind that want the planet cleaned up, and do the easy stuff like using energy saving lightbulbs, and then there are the proactive tree huggers, these are the people who are going out and finding solutions to our environmental problems for us, like finding cleaner energy sources, or little microscopic creatures that eat plastic. Someday we'll all...severely under appreciated what these guys did for us.

6. Walt Disney
As with the "things that suck" list, I had a lot of things run through my head while I was thinking of things for this list. Disney Parks: I could go to a Disney park and not ride a single ride and still have a fantastic time, so add the rides and I have a super ridiculous awesomely fantastic time, and I never get sick of it! Then there are Disney Movies, no one does animation like Disney. NO ONE! Add Pixar to the equation and you have a team that has yet to have anything but epic wins as far as I'm concerned. Walt Disney the man: I can't think of a soul who has done more to fuel the hopes of dreamers everywhere. The guy came from nothing, gave everything, and changed the world all in an unfortunately brief lifetime.
5. The late 60's
It's hard to imagine that the things that happened in the late 60's actually happened. The strongest youth movement in the history of our nation, an absolute revolution in the way movies are made, and some of the most amazing and influential musicians of the 20th century. I would give anything to go back in time and go to Woodstock.
4. Unexplainable Phenomenon
I am a total believer! Big Foot, UFOs, Atlantis, to a lesser degree telepathy, etc.. I'm also intrigued by mysteries like the crystal skulls, and how the Sphinx was built. There's so much cool stuff in the world that can't be explained, and that's what makes it so great! A little mystery gives life flavor, so why not a little fantastic mystery? (sorry this video is backwards)
3. Great Concerts
There's an energy that permeates the air at a great concert that you won't experience anywhere else. Sure, you could try to say it's just the smoke and lights and high volume, but you'd be wrong. Whether it's a stadium show with tens of thousands of screaming fans or one superb musician on a street corner, a great performance can move you unlike anything else.
2. No Fail TV Series
There are, and have been SO many great TV series. I've been seriously addicted to 24, Lost, Friends, L.A. Ink, House M.D., Heroes, Dexter, Prison Break, My Name Is Earl, Lie To Me, Leverage, and Chuck. Some of them, like Lost, Heroes, and Prison Break, started out AWESOME and then by their third season just became unbearable. Others, like House M.D., Lie To Me, and Chuck, have always been great and hopefully always will be. But very few are like Friends, perfection from day one till the final moments of the final episode.
