Well hello there. It's been a long long time.

Captain's Log: July 14th
It has come to my attention that I've been remiss in my blogging duties. The following blog will bring you up to speed, more or less. Starting where we left off:

November 2008, the whole family takes a Thanksgiving trip to visit Jen & Dave. We spend the whole week in southern California and have a fantastic time and wish we never had to go home.

December 2008: Back in Utah it's freezing cold, so I try to make the best of the situation by covering everything I own in Christmas decorations. The electric bill costs more than the house, Christmas ends, lights come down, depression sets in.

January 2009: I get bored with my shaggy hair and cut it into this wicked sweet mohawk. Chicks dig it.

February 2009: I am hired by UVU to compose the feature length symphonic score for "Nosferatu" I compose, arrange, and record an hour and a half long score, and then run sound during the production. We take the show to the Kennedy Center American College Theater festival where we take 5th in the nation and my team wins best design ensemble. When not running the show I have a great time playing in the sun and the rain, meeting new people, and eating the best California omelet for breakfasts uvu's money could buy. We spend the whole week in southern California and have a fantastic time and wish we never had to go home.

March 2009: After several awkward first dates I decide to practice dating by taking out people I know instead. I call up an old friend and coworker from best buy, Katrina, who has also recently become single. First date goes great, second date goes great, and then we are together! This photo shows us at the Festival of Colors at the Hare Krishna Temple.

May 2009: Katrina's friend gets married in San Diego, so we take a road trip. My family happens to be staying in Oceanside, so we meet up with them too. We spend the whole week in Southern California where we all have a fantastic time and wish we never had to go home.

July 2009: Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince is finally released. Katrina and I go to the midnight showing, in full costume of course. Katrina dresses up as Belatrix Lestrange. I go as Harry Potter in his punk rock college years. My costume is full of both Harry Potter and punk rock references that very few people fully appreciate.

August 2009: My family takes a family vacation to Oceanside for Shanda's graduation. We spend the whole week in southern California and have a fantastic time and wish we never had to go home.

September 2009: I change my look and decide to send myself off to college to try to gain a little knowledge. Unfortunately I discover, as the song says, that they don't teach what I wish to learn.

October 2009: I go to work on the farm for a few days while on a break from school . I get to photograph this beautiful sunset.

October 2009: Kim gives birth to her second little boy, Jonah. I win the award for most awesome baby photo of all time.

December 2009: I am cast as a Mariachi in UVU's production of Much Ado About Nothing, which is set in revolution era Mexico.

February 2010:
I finally get around to recording the song I wrote for Katrina, and decide to film myself in the process, thus launching the first video on my Youtube channel, youtube.com/user/Logankendellmusic

April 2010: Katrina and I have been dating for a year now! Things are going fantastic. The only problem is that we are haunted by this song everywhere we go. She tries to say it's our song. It isn't. I record this video for her as a joke. Also, I cut my hair.
It is gross.
Then I cut my hair again.

May 2010: We take a trip to visit my mom and sister at the new house in St. George.

June 2010: We take another trip to St. George with Katrina's Brother, his wife, and their baby.
This time we go on a pretty intense hike.

June 2010: As Katrina and I both have June birthdays, and were smart enough to sign up for lots of restaurants birthday clubs, we get lots of fancy food for free.

July 2010: Katrina and I build a sweet fort in my living room to watch movies in. I decide to give it a beach theme so we can pretend we are in southern California having a fantastic time and wishing we never had to go home.
